We've got answers.
How much does it cost?
We will be asking for (not requiring) a $10 donation at the door. Considering there will be more than 20 bands and three venues to explore, we feel this is a reasonable amount. Brats will be $3 or 2 for $5 and event beer will be $5.
Where can I park?
Look for signs directing you to event parking. We will have the use of a parking lot one block away.
Where does the money go?
After expenses, ALL proceeds will be split between Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center, Guitars for Vets, and the Madison Area Music Association.
Can my band play?
Possibly, please email us at WurstTimes7@gmail.com. Your time is a wonderful way to donate to a worthy cause.
Are you making money on this event?
NO. The venues will be making money on non-event related sales.
Do I have to be 21?
You must be at least 18 y.o. or we ask that you be accompanied by a legal guardian.
How can I help?
We have a need a for volunteers and others willing to take on some of the expense. Please see our volunteer section. Cash donations accepted via PayPal WurstTimes7@themamas.org
Will you have food other than brats?
The venues are free to sell items other than brats, these items are not part of the event, so the sale won't help Second Harvest.
Can I sell items at your event?
Maybe. Send us an email and we can discuss it. Any sales at the event will have to somehow benefit Second Harvest or the event.
Will you have vegetarian food available?
Yes, we will have vegetarian brats and other food items sold by the venues.
Is this a political event?
Probably not. While we aren't trying to make a political statement, the reason for having this event is to have an alternative. Madison loves alternatives.
Thanks to all of our sponsors!
